PURITY • FRUITINESS • AROMATIC • LUXURIOUS
This acclaimed sake, honored with the Grand Gold Medal at IWC 2012, is meticulously crafted from the finest Yamadanishiki rice harvested in the special "A" region of Hyogo Prefecture. Aged for two years in its unpasteurized state (Namazake) at temperatures below 0°C, it undergoes pasteurization just before shipping. Despite being classified as a tokubetsu junmai, its polishing ratio of 50% places it on par with a junmai daiginjo in terms of quality. The flavor is crisp, accompanied by a subtle aroma, presenting a well-balanced taste and fragrance that concludes with a hint of grapefruit. Universally praised as a premium sake, it comes highly recommended for its bright citrussy notes, grapefruit accents, fragrant style, and delicate fruity sweetness, culminating in a long, elegant, and balanced pungency.
